“All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.” – Walt Disney
Yesterday I talked about how we all have dreams. Today I want to talk about a few tangible ways to execute dreams.
1) Write it down.
I mentioned this one yesterday, but it’s the easiest and most impactful way to get a head start on making that dream a reality.
2) Tell SomeONE.
Now, I was very careful about my wording there because it’s important to tell 1-2 people for accountability purposes. However, what you don’t want it to tell everyone and then never follow through as that signals you are unreliable.
3) Set up an accountability structure/plan.
Are you checking in daily, weekly, monthly? Let’s talk about what you’re struggling with, what you’re doing to overcome those struggles, and what areas you are seeing massive growth in.
4) Create measurable goals & track them.
Or maybe don’t create goals, but just track your progress. Identify what makes sense to invest time in and don’t put your valuable time in other places.
5) Learn to be uncomfortable.
When you push the limits of your dreams and start achieving them you enter a new sphere of life that you haven’t been in before. When you can embrace the awkward feeling you can grow into something beautiful!
