Don’t Be Busy

I like a handful of people in the world, are very great at being busy. We balance it all, work, play, side projects, and somehow we keep moving forward.

The problem with this mentality is that we don’t allow a lot of time for personal growth.

We are so caught up with the concept of getting things done, but realistically, how much do we actually get done?

If you are like me, it can vary. Some days we do all the things. But some days we barely do anything. Without a steady stream of effort, we don’t make any real progress.

I propose we learn how to free our time.

Our time is held captive by everything we let into our lives. From our relationships to the apps on our phones; our time is spread so thin.

Contrary to popular belief, time isn’t free. Time is money and to everyone’s dissatisfaction, you have to pay to play.

I challenge you to think about where you spend your time. Browsing social media, investing in relationships, or maybe, building a better signal.

Now, think about where you want to be in 5 years. If where you spend your time isn’t getting you closer to where you want to be, it may be time to evaluate your time budget.
