A Letter To The Past

Today I was leading a creative team meeting; one of our activities was writing letters. These letters were letters to the past.

I thought that I would include mine because I feel like I’m not the only one who needs to read it.

“So, you tried. Don’t ever forget that it’s ok to say no. You’re a fighter but don’t be afraid to set away from a battle now and then. Peace is worth turning the other cheek. At the end of every day, take five minutes and love on yourself. You are your greatest investment.

When all else fails, it’s ok to cry. Just make sure that when you finish, you dry your tears and find a reason to smile again. You will always be great at faking it till you make it, but make sure every now and then you find something that you don’t have to fake. Sow into that, bring that to fruition; chances are it’s worth sharing.

Lastly, just because you can thrive in any environment doesn’t mean there isn’t a better fit out there. Don’t be afraid to find a better fit.”

Here’s to sowing, reaping, and thriving. Let’s find our better fit’s together.
